Lara McAllen rose to fame as the lead singer of the dance-pop sensation Angel City. She began her career at 19 as a backing dancer for Shakira before shifting gears to become a dance music vocalist.

At just 20, she signed her first recording deal with Ministry of Sound, and her debut single, "Love Me Right," became a breakout hit, topping the US Dance Chart and making its mark on the Billboard charts. Lara's journey with Angel City produced several UK Top 10 hits, cementing her place in the dance-pop genre.
Over the years, Lara's talents have expanded into vocal production, songwriting, and TV presenting. She made appearances on shows like Top of the Pops, CD, and
This Morning, and contributed to multiple Clubland albums. Lara has also been featured in magazines such as OK!, Hello!, and Marie Claire.
After taking more than ten years away from the music scene, Lara returned to the stage at the 2023 Clubland Weekender Festival and revealed she’s back in the studio, ready to make her mark once again.
